Course

THE FORMAT

Event 1: Walkers (6 per team)
6 person walking relay team with each person walking 1 x 7km loop
6:05am start
The 6 team members will pair off and walk together. ie: Members 1 and 2, start at 6-05am and walk 7km together, then Members 3 and 4 do 7km together and finally members 5 and 6 do the last 7km together.

Event 2: Runners (6 per team)
6 person running relay team with each person running 1 x 7km loop
6:00am start

Event 3: Runners (3 per team)
3 person relay with each person running 2 x 7km loop
6:00am start
Runner 1, does a 7km, then runner 2, then runner 3, and after runner 3, runner 1 is back on the road followed by 2 and 3 until they do 2 laps each.

Event 4: Runners (2 per team)
2 person relay with each person running alternate 7km loops.
6:00am start 

Event 5: Runners (Solo)
Solo runners doing 6 x 7km loops, which will be a 42.195km Olympic Distance Marathon.
5:00am start
THE COURSE
The course is a 7km loop starting and finishing at the Tamborine Mountain Sports Centre. It is a variable surface including: Grassed Trails, Concrete Pavement, Bitumen Roads, Minor Rain Forest Trails.
